Miel Rathmann is no ordinary P.E. teacher. When students at Christ the King Catholic School were sent home amidst the COVID19 pandemic, Rathman saw an opportunity to continue to give back. 

Creating an online sign-up sheet, Rathmann works with parents to schedule 10 minute workouts with his students. Socially distancing from the street, children complete exercises like planks, jumping jacks, and pushups in their driveway.  

“Have kids love being physically active so they stay active their whole life” says Rathmann. So far, Rathmann has made over 60 visits.
