One of the latest trends during Coronavirus school disruptions is the teacher parade; and one of the first to hold a teacher parade was the staff at Elmonica Elementary in Beaverton. They held a parade on a Sunday in April to kick-off the new structured virtual learning schedule. Teachers taped handmade signs to cars and waved and honked. Students too held up signs of love and support for their teachers.
